Some of my favorite memories of growing up are playing in the garden!
Watch this webinar that will give you the inspiration and confidence to start a sensory garden that benefits your child's sensory processing, mental health and well being!
Led by Clare, sensory kid turned pediatric OT, and her mother Joy, who is a Master Gardener in the Midwest.
In our tech engrossed world, we easily become disconnected from the world around us. Making time and space to get into nature benefits our mood and mental health.
Some of my favorite childhood memories involve being in the garden. Eating fruit off the plant, making snapdragons talk and feeling different textures of a variety of vibrant and beautiful plants.
If you choose to include any fruits or herbs in your sensory garden, you provide low pressure exposure to whole foods which often increases a child's willingness to try them.
No need to create elaborate sensory play activities when your daily activities provide the sensory input your child is seeking.
